Day Four
Filled With Black-Stamped LiesThe dates we had were letters; our anniversaries, syllables.
Every "I love you" marked down another word.
Each hug you gave spelled short words with no meaning.
Each kiss spelled words that I could never pronounce.
My gaze upon you was like a lamp at two in the morning.
Your gaze was more like florescent lighting in a dim classroom.
I read page after page, hoping it never ended.
You had to keep yourself from falling asleep.
While you were a series of novels to me,
I was merely a sentence to you.

Surrounded by her fairy dogs
warrior wolves and magnetic fox tails
who howl some foretelling tune
decoded only by the whistling winds
within my once listless room
I nip your Adam's apple by my Cupid's bow
we are a perfect art, a Sistine Michelangelo
We are stomata of the umpteen,
swimming in each other's dulcet drippings
of halved and pitted French tongues and ears
Let the years pass in this gentle deaf-muteness
where Ceteris Paribus
In this, Hallowed and His Seraphims know
how in the glow of one night tide
the firmament of all
folded into my limitless room
You and I part in sweet sorrow
the dolefulness of an epoch where
ravens kiss the sky in kismet unison
Obsidian feathers coax my onyx flesh
fingers pressed, heaving chest
we cool down just until the coming round

I'd say my biggest surprise this round was the no one pinned Sammur-amat as the culprit for day six I thought for sure someone would get it!
